Though it resembles something Darth Vader might have carried around, the Vacu Vin WineMaster Corkscrew is a pretty amazing piece of technology.  Using it is simple. Place the Corkscrew over the top of the bottle; the built-in bottle grip will hold the bottle tightly. With both hands, gently move the handles up and down; the specially-coated spiral will easily insert into the cork and then extract it.

It gets better.  The Emerson Electric Wine Bottle Opener is the real deal.  The cordless opener opens a bottle of wine in seconds and doesn’t make any loud popping noises for those among drinking quietly.  It has a stylish and ergonomically designed soft grip handle that fits comfortably in your hand while in use.

Wait until you get a load of the Infared Wine Thermoter.  You haven’t even come close to going high tech until you put this baby in your home.  We understand that some wines simply have to be served at the right temprature or Faux pas insues.  Sticking a thermometer into your bottle of wine works fine, but there’s something a little more appealing about remotely checking the temperature of wine.
