Mutineer: Millennial Drinking Meets Its Master

Mutineer: Millennial Drinking Meets Its Master

Gen-Y drinking has never really been defined by print.  This is not to say that print hasn’t tried because, in its defense, it has.  It’s so often the case, however, that the content is just too soft, as if worried about barriers to conventional polite taste or often simply too hip, suffering from the strain of trying too hard.  What has turned out to be spot on and just right is the now, fully arrived and dare we say, illustrious, Mutineer Magazine.

What began not long ago as an attitude defined, change the world vision, has morphed into a mature, content driven publication with the audacity to write about alcohol as we really see it and drink it.  Everyone gets to write about drinking but no one gets to write out loud with a Frank The Tank kind of glee that it tastes so good when it hits your lips and the buzz is some serious fun.  Mutineer does this and they are articulate while they do it.

As evidence of how far the publication has come take a look at the new cover featuring HotForWords babe Marina Orlova.  The angle here is she gets to tell us about the origin of some traditional drinking words.  Write on, Mutineer.
