Jersey Shore’s “The Situation” is new Spokesperson for Cork Taint
The North American Bad Wine Council announced today that it has signed Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino as its 2010 spokesperson. Donald Kirstein, CEO of NABWC, made the announcement at the organizations annual Pro Bowl celebration in Miami Sunday. ”We’ve been coming to the Pro Bowl for years. It’s really been our premier event and this year just seems a bit more special”, he said. Cork taint and bad wine have never set well with the public. This move seems to mark the councils most aggressive effort to date in it’s fight for bad wine’s public acceptance.
“We reached out to The Situation because he has something special”, Kirstein said. ”This move gives our campaign the profile we have never enjoyed.”
“The older generation doesn’t understand. These days in New York and New Jersey a ‘guido’ is a good-looking Italian male that likes to have fun and a ‘guidette’ is a good-looking Italian girl.” “My job with the NABWC is to reach out to Millennials and show them that if the bottle tastes funny, ya just keep on drinkin anyway”. Sorrentino looked up from his abs long enough to wink at co-star Snooki as she poured her fourth glass of White Zin from a beautiful silver flask found in her gift bag.
The Bad Wine Council has long advocated for wine that bears undesirable smells and taste. This marks the first time that it has openly advocated for people with similar characteristics.
